I learned about the Top 100 on bdkz's blog, So you want to be a Giant Squid?

I think I learned about it from her Twitter feed, but I'm not sure.

I subscribe to about three dozen blogs in my feed reader and it really helps me to keep up with what's going on. I check the latest entries three or four times per day, but don't pass on as much as I'd like because of time constraints.

I also have Twitterific running most of the time I'm online, unless I'm seriously working on building web pages and then I turn off everything so I can really concentrate.

BTW, thanks for joining the new Social Networking Sites for Business group on Ryze.com. I have a lot of ideas on what I want to do there and hope it gains traction and participation over time.

So far, you're the only double Giant Squid that I know. Congrats!

This just isn't workable the way it is now.

After all, the whole point of marketing is to link to sites that make money.

I'm going to get my ducks in a row over the next day or so and then I'll upgrade to the premium service that lets us post commercial links.

That way, we don't have to tip-toe around all of this. I don't want this community to be non-commercial, so rather than trying to contact all the previous members first, it makes sense to upgrade and then start rebuilding the community.

I'll let you know as soon as it's done.
