I discovered a lens today by Stargazer00, Food Storage Recipes, which I've bookmarked as a reference. With food prices soaring, it's a great resource for shopping smart, and planning meals that can be stretched into an extra meal for the freezer.

I love talking about embarrassing moments, because it seems we're surrounded by discouraging news these days. It's good to laugh, and to share the laughter! Stop by "Embarrassing Moments We'd Rather Forget," and add your own red-faced moment. You'r…

Good morning, Seedplanter.

Welcome to our friendly little community for lensmasters.

I really enjoyed your Help! I've Lost my Hippocampus! lens.

The worst senior moment I ever had was when I was introducing my wife to someone back when I was teaching college.

I looked at my wife and said, "This is Nicki."

Then I turned to Nicki to introduce my wife and said, "This is... uh... uh...my wife."

That's when she hit me in the arm, hard, and said, "...and my name is Kathy!"

We'd been married for two years and I totally blanked. And the worst thing about it was that I was in my late 30s. Now, in my mid-50s, it's only gotten worse.

I actually laughed out loud (really!) when I read your lens and the guy couldn't remember the restaurant he and his wife ate at.

If there is anything I can do to help you get more from this site, please let me know.

Act on your dream!

This is so true. I am spread way too thin and I decided that I need to pare down my "memberships" as a resolution this year. This is a quality site that is big enough, but not too big. What helps me to keep up here is having the RSS in my Google Reader. I don't read every word, but I can keep an eye out for topics of interest.
