I've just discovered that for us European people it is far easier to visit the UK shop and order things from there - we can have the prices in Euro and there's no customs fee.

That is a big question and everyone has their own opinion. Here are the highlights from my point of view and by the way I have shops on both sites.

1. Both are POD (print on demand) sites...which means you put on your designs and they handle production and delivery...makes it very easy.

2. They each have similar products i.e. t-shirts, cards but each has some items the other does not have. For example..Cafepress has keepsake boxes and tile coasters that really work for my designs. Zazzle has shoes, magnets, sticker, buttons that are nice.

3. On Cafe Press to get a good variety in your shop you really need a Premium shop and they have a charge for that. On Zazzle there is no charge for the shops.

For me those are the basic differences. A lot of people moved away from CafePress a few months back when they changed their commission structure for items sold in their marketplace. I stick with them mainly for the keepsake boxes and tiles.

Hope this helps.

Still trying to figure out the best way to market my Zazzle store! I use twitter, squidoo, facebook(a little) and my blog! Hopefully we can learn some tips from each other!

I think the biggest thing I need to learn is how to market my Zazzle products better. I use Squidoo , Facebook, Twitter, Digg....but I don't seem to be getting much traffic. I'm open to suggestions.
