Where Marketing Matters
I recently branched out of my Crochet Blog to a blog that specifically focuses on Squidoo and how to use it [and other writing venues] to market your handmade business or blog.
Here are some articles I have written for those who have Etsy Shops but the principles can be applied to all handmade businesses. [except of course the Etsy Module]
This year I have a tutorial on the 100 best lenses for 2011. It is Make A Paper Flower Rosette Decoration for…Continue

Comment by Sara Duggan on July 16, 2011 at 10:59pm Sherry, that sounds great. I'd love if our markets allowed crafters but they only allow produce sellers. We do have a large market in a couple of towns over but that market is saturated with people who resell junk and garage sale type stuff which doesn't bring the buyers you'd want for things you taken time and money to create.
Welcome.
Comment by Sherry Venegas on July 16, 2011 at 8:24pm Artisans are at one end of the two block market and the atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. Each 10 foot area looking artistic and eye catching.
My specialty is handmade cards and I help my earnings by writing tutorials on Squidoo and offering the websites on my business cards at the Farmer's Market.
I hope to start a website and sell cards through that medium. My Squidoo site is Paperfacets.
