Do you want to become a Giant Squid?

I think the best introduction to the main things you want to know about becoming a Giant Squid can be found on bdkz's THE GIANT SQUIDS (and how you can become one) lens.

You'll also find valuable information on GypsyPirate's Giant Squid FAQ's lens.

This group is not exclusively for Giant Squids - but they are all invited. It is also for anyone who wants to become a successful lensmaster and gain the recognition that Giant Squid status signifies.

I published my Walk Around Deer Creek lens 2 days ago and it hit the top 500 this morning. That was nice. Now I need to get back on track with my USA States lenses to try and meet my target of 100 before the end of June.

If you search on Google for "Deer Creek Walk" the lens is already #1, #2 is my Digg entry and #3 my Twitter entry. Cool :)

JustBon - when I chose a group I went to the one that had the least number involved, which at the time seemed to be Rajays. I will definitely go to your group's page to support the people there by visiting their lenses!

I was hoping for a few more Lensmasters to join my small band of hopefuls, but unfortunately it wasn't to be.

Some new lenses have been added to the Plexos on the Group lens, and I'm sure all the Lensmasters would appreciate a visit if you have the opportunity :)

Here's the Group lens

Good luck to you all in your endeavors :)

Good job Jimmie. I am on my way, but got sidetracked for the last week and haven't done a thing :(

I'm hopefully awaiting Giant 100 June 2009. I've got 105 published lenses now.

I'm also working on qualifying for the 100 club. I've got about 85 lenses right now. My newest niche is to create an online herbal. I can envision this herbal project having hundreds of pages, but right now it has only three: Lemon Balm, Rosemary, and Thyme. I have to choose herbs I can get good pictures of. The next will be Chives.

I decided to go for the Giant 100 Club by creating a niche set of 50 lenses about the USA. I have 6 completed, and then last week my laptop decided it had had enough, with the Hard Drive getting horribly corrupted. Almost a week later I have a nice now big hard drive, and am 98% up and running and ready to get back on track. The first of my lenses if Alabama and I hope to get Colorado completed and published tonight. I hope you have time to visit.
