Where Marketing Matters
For some time, our community has been integrated with Twitter and now we are set up for Facebook integration.
What does that mean?
It means that when you post a new status update, a blog post, new forum discussion, and in a few other places, you have the option of sending a notice to Twitter and/or Facebook.
For example, when starting this forum discussion, I can enter a Title, Post body, tags, and -- if I want -- can select to post a notice on Facebook and/or Twitter, by checking the boxes below the Tags entry box.
The first time you do this, you may have to grant permission for Facebook to post to your wall.
The default text is "Just added a new discussion on Squidoo Marketing."
For this post, I'll change that to "New discussion on Squidoo Marketing about Facebook integration" and be sure to leave enough characters so Ning can automatically post the URL to the new discussion.
This is a handy way to alert your friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter that you have posted something here.
Whatcha think?

And, here's the Facebook update on my profile.
Just another way to spread the love on other social networking sites.
