Good morning.

I've been offline the last few days working on completing a project before its deadline and I logged in here at Squidoo Marketing for the first time since last Friday and saw that a spammer had joined the community and was putting the same comment on lots of your pages.

I just banned the offending member and the system is working to remove all that person's content.

If you receive a notice that someone left a comment for you and then can't find that comment, now you'll know why.

I'm sorry for the disruption and hope it didn't bother you too much.

On the other hand, I'm very happy to see that many of you have continued to promote your lenses and work cooperatively to help each other. That puts everything back into focus and makes me happy to be a part of this community.

Good afternoon,

We had a spammer, "lucy," join the group about 18 hours ago. I just discovered, a few minutes ago, that he/she had put comments on many of your pages.

I have suspended this person and the system is working to remove all the comments from your profile pages.

I just don't see how anyone really expects this type of bad behavior to work for them.

Thanks for "taking care" of Lucy. Yeah, I don't get it either. What in world makes these people think this is effective? It's actually more like repulsive. And sad.
