Event Description

We will create a committee and plan the FAIR

The Squidoo Marketing Fair will be a four weekend workshop event with lens building marketing and other topics Lensmasters will find valuable.

The first EVENT is the PLANNING MEETING

Due to our varied schedules we will have this meeting over a 36 hour time period. The first meeting will be a brainstorming session for:
Event Topic Ideas workshop Leaders
Schedule (how long will each workshop be available)
Fee Schedule (how much will members contribute to the event -- will there be a variety of contribution levels)?
Will Co-Sponsors Attend all events Free?

Given this may be fully volunteer sponsored... we should plan to apply any proceeds to the annual cost of the NING expense and any expenses we may have if we enlist 'paid' workshop leaders or materials.

Comment by GypsyOwl on February 14, 2012 at 3:40pm: Sandy, That would be great. We are all sharing ideas... so knowing more will come for all of us as we progress. I have several ideas, and I think each of us can contribute much value to the fair materials.

I think I should set up a "how to post your workshop to the fair" type discussion? I have a lot of ideas but I'm sure others have things to offer on that topic as well.

I started some discussions on the group http://squidoomarketing.ning.com/group/promotionsandcampaigns I think that is where we will have all of the PLANNING and HOW TO posts.

The actual 'FAIR' will need to have its own 'group' and separate pages in that group for each of the 'areas' of the Fair.
